Idle games are about the pleasure of watching something you built run by itself. You make a few smart decisions, the machine does the repetitive work, and when you come back there is a pile of progress waiting for you. They suit short breaks well: five minutes of planning, then off you go.

Maple Mill is our take on the idle tycoon. You start with a single saw at a small sugar shack in the woods. Logs roll in, planks stack up, and trucks carry orders away for cash. Walk onto a buy pad to add a conveyor, a forklift or a robot arm, and the mill speeds up. Later you open a second line that taps maple trees for syrup, and the seasons start to matter: sugaring season boosts syrup, while the first snow slows the trucks down.

Your mill keeps earning while the tab is closed, and progress saves on your device automatically. Come back after lunch and there will be planks to sell.
