Cookie Policy

This policy explains how PlayTrendingGames, run by KP Digital Ventures Inc., uses cookies and similar technologies such as your browser’s local storage. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. Local storage (including IndexedDB) is a similar feature that lets a website keep information in your browser, such as a saved game. Both can be “first-party” (set by the site you are visiting) or “third-party” (set by another company, such as an ad network).

What we use today

Today we use no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. We only use local storage for things that make the site and the games work.

Analytics without cookies. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies or use local storage and does not track you across other websites.

Security. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example to tell real visitors from bots). These do not track you for advertising.

What will change later

Sign-in (coming soon)

If you choose to sign in, our sign-in provider Supabase will store authentication tokens in your browser (usually with names starting sb-) so you stay signed in. These are strictly necessary for the account feature and are only set if you sign in.

Advertising (future)

When we start showing ads through Google AdSense, Google and its partners will use cookies and similar technologies (for example __gads, __gpi, IDE and DSID) to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalise ads. A consent tool will also store your choices (for example in a cookie called euconsent-v2 or a Global Privacy Platform string).

Before any of these are used:

• visitors in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec will be asked to opt in to non-essential cookies, with a reject option that is as easy to use as accept;
• visitors elsewhere will be told about them and be able to opt out;
• we will honour the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of personalised advertising;
• Google’s tags will follow your consent choices, and send only limited, cookieless signals when consent is refused.

You will be able to change your choices at any time through a “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which will appear when the consent tool is added. We will update this table with the full list at that time.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google’s Ads Settings or at www.aboutads.info.

Managing cookies and local storage in your browser

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you clear this site’s data, your saved game progress on that device will be deleted too, so please keep that in mind.
